01 What is the aulumu iPhone Duo case collection?
The aulumu iPhone Duo collection is being developed specifically around the new foldable form factor. Rather than adapting a conventional iPhone case, the collection explores dedicated structures, aramid fiber treatments, dual-screen protection, lightweight construction, and magnetic compatibility around the way iPhone Duo folds, opens, and is carried.
02 Which model will the iPhone Duo cases support?
This collection is being developed specifically for iPhone Duo. Because a foldable device requires different case geometry from a conventional Pro or Pro Max model, final dimensions, openings, frame construction, and fit will be confirmed through final device and product validation before release.
03 What materials and designs are being developed for iPhone Duo?
Current development focuses on aramid fiber with several distinct visual directions. The current preview includes a Gradient Aramid design, an Abyss Blue Particle Aramid design, and a Midnight Black Particle Aramid design. Each design explores a different balance of texture, visual expression, protection, weight, and everyday usability for the foldable form.
04 How does the Particle Aramid iPhone Duo case protect both sides of the device?
The current Particle Aramid design uses a dedicated front PC protection frame together with the rear case structure. This creates fuller coverage around both sides of the foldable device, including the front display frame, edges, corners, and rear section. An aluminum alloy camera guard also adds a harder protective structure around the camera area.
05 Is hinge protection included in the current iPhone Duo preview?
The current preview focuses on protection around the front and rear surfaces, display frame, edges, corners, and camera area. A dedicated hinge-protection configuration has not been announced as part of the current preview.
06 Will there be a hinge-protection version for iPhone Duo?
We may release a hinge-protective version for iPhone Duo in the future. Stay tuned for further updates.
07 What is the difference between Gradient Aramid and Particle Aramid?
Gradient Aramid uses changes in tone and woven texture to create a layered visual effect across the aramid surface. Particle Aramid takes a more graphic approach. Abyss Blue combines a blue aramid base with a gradient particle array, while Midnight Black uses glossy particles that become more or less visible as light and viewing angle change.
08 What aramid fiber does the Particle Aramid design use?
The current Particle Aramid construction uses dense 1500D aramid fiber on the outer layer and a finer 600D aramid structure on the inside. The outer layer provides a tightly woven, durable surface, while the finer inner structure creates a more refined interface between the case and the device.
09 Will iPhone Duo cases support magnetic charging and accessories?
Magnetic compatibility is part of the current iPhone Duo case development. The cases are being designed for use with compatible magnetic chargers, stands, wallets, and everyday accessories, including aulumu magnetic stand systems such as G09. Final magnetic performance and accessory compatibility will be confirmed during product validation.
10 When will aulumu iPhone Duo cases be available?
The aulumu iPhone Duo collection is currently expected to launch around October 23, 2026. The collection is still in the pre-launch stage, so the final launch date, product configurations, specifications, colors, compatibility, and availability remain subject to change before official release.

WHY CHOOSE AULUMU IPHONE DUO

A foldable iPhone changes what a phone case has to do.

A conventional smartphone stays in one shape. iPhone Duo does not. It opens, closes, changes its footprint, shifts the way it is held, and places different demands on protection depending on how the device is being used.

That is why aulumu is developing its iPhone Duo cases around the foldable form itself rather than simply adapting an existing iPhone case structure.

The current collection explores multiple aramid fiber expressions. Gradient Aramid uses changes in woven tone to create depth across the surface, while the Particle Aramid designs use distinct particle-array treatments in Abyss Blue and Midnight Black.

Protection is also treated differently. On the current Particle Aramid design, a dedicated PC front frame works together with the rear case structure to create fuller protection across both sides of the device. An aluminum alloy camera guard adds protection around the camera area, while layered aramid fiber helps maintain a lightweight and refined overall profile.

The current preview does not announce a dedicated hinge-protection configuration. However, aulumu may release a hinge-protective version for iPhone Duo in the future.

Across the iPhone Duo collection, the goal is to balance protection, material feel, thickness, magnetic compatibility, foldable usability, and aulumu's future-focused visual language.
